Senior Analysts are involved in field research and desk research. In addition, they are requested to perform various support functions for the project team.

Consultants

This is usually the highest entrance level for new colleagues joining ABC. Consultants are expected to have good oral and written command of English, experience in working with Word and Excel and previous work experience in a relevant field. Consultants take an active role in all aspects of a project – planning and conducting high-level field research and interviews, performing desk research and structuring work. As they gain skills and confidence, they are asked to manage bigger pieces of the project and to get first experience in analytical work. Early on, most consultants work in a broad range of industries and issues. As they progress, some develop in-depth knowledge in a specific industry.

Senior Consultants

Consultants who are elected Senior Consultants play an expanded leadership role in project teams. They have a minimum of one year of work experience as a Consultant. They act as a project manager, assuming primary responsibility for structuring the project, assigning work, coaching team members, and managing day-to-day interaction with clients. They have fluent oral and written command of English and have in–depth experience in working with Word, Excel and PowerPoint. They have the ability to perform analytical work and to synthesize conclusions into recommendations. Senior Consultants are expected to perform on a regular basis marketing tasks and to expand their ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Associate Directors

Senior Consultants who are elected Associate Directors have demonstrated their ability to lead and inspire a project team, manage every phase of an engagement, coach and mentor colleagues, and contribute to knowledge. They have a minimum of one year of work experience as Senior Consultant. They have excellent oral and written knowledge of English as well as Word, Excel and PowerPoint, enabling them to do the final editing of reports and presentation documents. They are able to plan and execute projects from A to Z, including preparation and negotiation of offers. They are able to represent ABC towards existing clients and to build relationships with new clients in- and outside of Iran.

Directors

Associate Directors who are elected Directors have demonstrated superior ability to lead and inspire consulting teams, manage every phase of an engagement, coach and mentor colleagues, contribute to knowledge, and provide senior counsel to our clients. Directors function in much the same way as Associate Directors do to build relationships with clients, and pursue a balance of depth and breadth in their professional interests. They have a minimum of two years of work experience as Associate Director. They are expected to speak at conferences and to publish in local and international publications. Directors assume an added responsibility for the overall management of ABC.
